## How it works

The Pore Cleansing Oil is a 200ml cleansing oil, used as the first of two evening cleanses, on dry skin and dry hands, before any water reaches the face. The exfoliant it is built around is Gluconolactone, named fifteenth on its own ingredient list. The same list carries Tocopherol, Houttuynia Cordata Extract and Castanea Crenata (Chestnut) Shell Extract, so the exfoliant is not the only thing on it worth naming. How much of the Gluconolactone stays on the skin, and for how long, is decided by the cleansing oil format rather than by the list alone. This is the Original Korean Formula, the cleansing oil Abib sells in Korea, Gluconolactone and all.

## How to use

1. Start on dry skin with dry hands, since water on the face first stops the oil doing its job.
2. Massage for about a minute, working over the nose, jaw and hairline where sunscreen collects.
3. Wet your fingers and keep massaging until the oil turns milky, then rinse it fully away.
4. Do not stop at the oil, because a second wash with your usual cleanser is what removes the rest of the day.

## FAQ

### Where does this cleansing oil go in my routine?

As the first of two evening cleanses, on dry skin and dry hands, before any water reaches the face. Nothing goes under it: this cleansing oil is the step everything else in the routine lands on top of. If you are adding it to a routine you already like, give it a week on its own first, so what you see is the Gluconolactone and not three changes at once.

### Is this the Korean-market cleansing oil or a US version?

The Korean-market one, Gluconolactone and all. We match this cleansing oil to its Korean barcode before it reaches the shelf, which is the check that tells you which market release you are holding.

### What else is on the list besides Gluconolactone?

Tocopherol, Houttuynia Cordata Extract and Castanea Crenata (Chestnut) Shell Extract. The order they are printed in on this cleansing oil's panel is the order on the box, so you can see where Gluconolactone sits relative to them. Further down the same panel: Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate and Triethylhexanoin.
