## How it works

The 8 Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Gentle Foaming Cleanser is a 150ml foam cleanser, used as your first step, morning and evening, on a face already wet with lukewarm water. The humectant it is built around is Sodium Hyaluronate, named tenth on its own ingredient list. The same list carries Zinc PCA, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, so the humectant is not the only thing on it worth naming. How much of the Sodium Hyaluronate stays on the skin, and for how long, is decided by the foam cleanser format rather than by the list alone. This is the Original Korean Formula, the foam cleanser Anua sells in Korea, Sodium Hyaluronate and all.

## How to use

1. Use the 8 Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Gentle Foaming Cleanser as your first step, morning and evening, on a face already wet with lukewarm water.
2. A short pump or a pea of product is enough. Work it into a lather in wet hands for about twenty seconds before it touches the face.
3. Rinse with lukewarm water and go straight on to your toner while skin is still damp, because a humectant layer has more to hold on to on a damp face.
4. Twice a day is the ceiling. Do not follow it with a second cleanse in the morning, when there is no sunscreen or makeup left on the face to remove.

## FAQ

### Where does this foam cleanser go in my routine?

As your first step, morning and evening, on a face already wet with lukewarm water. Nothing goes under it: this foam cleanser is the step everything else in the routine lands on top of. If you are adding it to a routine you already like, give it a week on its own first, so what you see is the Sodium Hyaluronate and not three changes at once.

### Is this the Korean-market foam cleanser or a US version?

The Korean-market one, Sodium Hyaluronate and all. We match this foam cleanser to its Korean barcode before it reaches the shelf, which is the check that tells you which market release you are holding.

### What else is on the list besides Sodium Hyaluronate?

Zinc PCA, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid. The order they are printed in on this foam cleanser's panel is the order on the box, so you can see where Sodium Hyaluronate sits relative to them. Further down the same panel: Hyaluronic Acid, Potassium Hyaluronate and Panthenol.
