## How it works

The 8 Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Gentle Gel Cleanser is a 150ml gel cleanser, used as your first step, morning and evening, on skin wet with lukewarm water. The humectant it is built around is Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, named fifteenth on its own ingredient list. The same list carries Ceramide NP, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein and Squalane, so the humectant is not the only thing on it worth naming. How much of the Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid stays on the skin, and for how long, is decided by the gel cleanser format rather than by the list alone. This is the Original Korean Formula, the gel cleanser Anua sells in Korea, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid and all.

## How to use

1. Use the 8 Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Gentle Gel Cleanser as your first step, morning and evening, on a face already wet with lukewarm water.
2. A short pump or a pea of product is enough. Work it into a lather in wet hands for about twenty seconds before it touches the face.
3. Rinse with lukewarm water and go straight on to your toner while skin is still damp, because a humectant layer has more to hold on to on a damp face.
4. Twice a day is the ceiling. Do not follow it with a second cleanse in the morning, when there is no sunscreen or makeup left on the face to remove.

## FAQ

### Where does this gel cleanser go in my routine?

As your first step, morning and evening, on skin wet with lukewarm water. Nothing goes under it: this gel cleanser is the step everything else in the routine lands on top of. If you are adding it to a routine you already like, give it a week on its own first, so what you see is the Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid and not three changes at once.

### Is this the Korean-market gel cleanser or a US version?

The Korean-market one, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid and all. We match this gel cleanser to its Korean barcode before it reaches the shelf, which is the check that tells you which market release you are holding.

### What else is on the list besides Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid?

Ceramide NP, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein and Squalane. The order they are printed in on this gel cleanser's panel is the order on the box, so you can see where Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid sits relative to them. Further down the same panel: Ectoin, Hyaluronic Acid and Sodium Hyaluronate.
