## How it works

The Retinol 0.1 Caffeine Revitalizing Eye Cream is an eye cream, used after serum and before moisturizer, morning and evening. The active it is built around is Retinol, named twenty-seventh on its own ingredient list. The same list carries Niacinamide, Caffeine and Adenosine, so the active is not the only thing on it worth naming. How much of the Retinol stays on the skin, and for how long, is decided by the eye cream format rather than by the list alone. Anua sells this Retinol eye cream in Korea, and this is that version.

## How to use

1. Use the Retinol 0.1 Caffeine Revitalizing Eye Cream after serum and before moisturizer, in the evening.
2. A grain of rice per eye, tapped along the orbital bone with the ring finger rather than dragged toward the lashes.
3. Serum first, this second, moisturizer over the top and out to the edges of the eye area. Retinol is the entry that puts this step in the evening rather than the morning.
4. Start at two or three evenings a week and build up from there, because retinol is on this list. Do not use it in the same routine as another retinoid or a resurfacing acid.

## FAQ

### Where does this eye cream go in my routine?

After serum and before moisturizer, morning and evening. Anything thinner than an eye cream goes on before it, and anything richer goes on after. If you are adding it to a routine you already like, give it a week on its own first, so what you see is the Retinol and not three changes at once.

### What else is on the list besides Retinol?

Niacinamide, Caffeine and Adenosine. The order they are printed in on this eye cream's panel is the order on the box, so you can see where Retinol sits relative to them. Further down the same panel: Hexapeptide-2, Copper Tripeptide-1 and Acetyl Hexapeptide-8.
