## How it works

The RICE CERAMIDE 7 HYDRATING BARRIER SERUM is a 50ml serum, used after toner and before moisturizer, morning and evening. The barrier lipid it is built around is Ceramide NP, named twenty-fourth on its own ingredient list. The same list carries Niacinamide, Adenosine and Allantoin, so the barrier lipid is not the only thing on it worth naming. How much of the Ceramide NP stays on the skin, and for how long, is decided by the serum format rather than by the list alone. This is the Original Korean Formula, the serum Anua sells in Korea, Ceramide NP and all.

## How to use

1. Apply it after your toner while the skin is still damp, morning and night.
2. Use a generous amount over the whole face and neck, since the 50ml size is meant to be used freely.
3. Follow with a moisturiser to close the routine, because a serum alone does not hold what it brings.
4. Do not skip the cream over the top on very dry skin, and never substitute this for it.

## FAQ

### Where does this serum go in my routine?

After toner and before moisturizer, morning and evening. Anything thinner than a serum goes on before it, and anything richer goes on after. If you are adding it to a routine you already like, give it a week on its own first, so what you see is the Ceramide NP and not three changes at once.

### Is this the Korean-market serum or a US version?

The Korean-market one, Ceramide NP and all. We match this serum to its Korean barcode before it reaches the shelf, which is the check that tells you which market release you are holding.

### What else is on the list besides Ceramide NP?

Niacinamide, Adenosine and Allantoin. The order they are printed in on this serum's panel is the order on the box, so you can see where Ceramide NP sits relative to them. Further down the same panel: Alpha-Arbutin, Arbutin and Tocopherol.
