## How it works

The Mung Bean Cleansing Oil is a cleansing oil, used as the first of two evening cleanses, on dry skin and dry hands, before any water reaches the face. The plant extract it is built around is Vigna Radiata Seed Extract, named twelfth on its own ingredient list. The same list carries Allantoin, Gardenia Florida Fruit Extract and Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Flower Extract, so the plant extract is not the only thing on it worth naming. How much of the Vigna Radiata Seed Extract stays on the skin, and for how long, is decided by the cleansing oil format rather than by the list alone. This is the Original Korean Formula, the cleansing oil beplain sells in Korea, Vigna Radiata Seed Extract and all.

## How to use

1. Use the Mung Bean Cleansing Oil as the first of two evening cleanses, on dry skin and dry hands, before any water reaches the face.
2. Dispense a proper amount onto dry hands and gently massage onto the face for around 30 seconds. Rinse with lukewarm water thoroughly afterwards.
3. Add a little water and keep massaging until it turns milky, rinse, then follow with a water-based cleanser. That second wash is what takes the oil off.
4. Once a day, in the evening. Do not use it as your morning cleanse; there is nothing on a face at seven in the morning that needs an oil to lift it.

## FAQ

### Where does this cleansing oil go in my routine?

As the first of two evening cleanses, on dry skin and dry hands, before any water reaches the face. Nothing goes under it: this cleansing oil is the step everything else in the routine lands on top of. If you are adding it to a routine you already like, give it a week on its own first, so what you see is the Vigna Radiata Seed Extract and not three changes at once.

### Is this the Korean-market cleansing oil or a US version?

The Korean-market one, Vigna Radiata Seed Extract and all. We match this cleansing oil to its Korean barcode before it reaches the shelf, which is the check that tells you which market release you are holding.

### What else is on the list besides Vigna Radiata Seed Extract?

Allantoin, Gardenia Florida Fruit Extract and Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Flower Extract. The order they are printed in on this cleansing oil's panel is the order on the box, so you can see where Vigna Radiata Seed Extract sits relative to them. Further down the same panel: Phaseolus Radiatus (Mung Bean) Sprout Extract, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate and Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil.
