## Key benefits

- Niacinamide and zinc PCA balance tone and sebum while you cleanse
- Panthenol, sodium hyaluronate and allantoin sit high on the list
- Madecassoside keeps the wipe-down calm for sensitive skin
- Rinse-free on light days, or follow with a wash after makeup

## How it works

Micellar water is a first cleanse rather than a whole one: it lifts makeup, sunscreen and the day's grime onto a cotton pad so the wash after it has less to do. This is COSRX's low-pH version of that step, with niacinamide in the name. Sweep it over the face and the eyes until the pad comes away clean, then follow with your usual gel or foam cleanser. On a bare-skin day it can be the entire cleanse, and skin that reacts to a strong foam often does better starting here. It is the step before the wash, not a stand-in for toner.

## How to use

1. Use the Low pH Niacinamide Micellar Cleansing Water as your first cleansing step, on dry skin, before any water touches the face.
2. Soak a cotton pad, sweep it over the face, then hold it against each eye for a few seconds before wiping.
3. Follow with your usual gel or foam cleanser, then toner while the face is still damp.
4. Once or twice a day, whenever there is makeup or sunscreen to lift. Do not scrub the pad back and forth over one spot; a soaked pad is a solvent rather than an eraser.

## Ingredients

Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Niacinamide, Zinc PCA, Madecassoside, Propanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA

## FAQ

### Is this micellar water meant to be rinsed off?

It can be used either way. The formula carries no strong surfactants, just polyglyceryl-4 caprate as the mild micelle-forming ingredient, so it lifts light makeup and daily residue on a cotton pad without stripping, and it is gentle enough to leave on rather than requiring a rinse.

### How much niacinamide is in this micellar water?

Niacinamide appears on the list but without a declared percentage figure. It sits alongside allantoin, panthenol and madecassoside as part of a soothing, brightening-support blend, present at a level appropriate for a light cleansing water rather than a treatment serum.

### Does this contain zinc, and what does it do here?

Yes, zinc PCA appears on the list. It is commonly used in Korean formulas to help balance oil and support a calmer skin feel after cleansing, working alongside niacinamide and madecassoside in this product's soothing profile.

### Can this replace a toner in a routine?

For a light routine, yes: the humectant and soothing ingredients here, sodium hyaluronate, panthenol and madecassoside, overlap with what a hydrating toner provides. Skin that wants a stronger toning or exfoliating step should still add a dedicated toner after using this as the cleansing step.

### Is this micellar water fragrance-free?

The ingredient list names no fragrance or parfum anywhere in the formula. Sweep it across the face on a cotton pad as usual, and it is a reasonable choice for fragrance-sensitive skin looking for a light, no-rinse cleansing step, though a patch test is still worthwhile for anyone with a known reaction history to preservatives like the hexanediol used here.
