## Key benefits

- Bisabolol, the active this foam cleanser is built around
- Ceramide NP on the same list, a barrier lipid
- Perilla Ocymoides Seed Extract on the same list, a plant extract
- Glycine and Serine on the same list, amino acids
- Glutamic Acid and Aspartic Acid further down the same list
- Leucine and Alanine further down the same list

## How it works

The Amino Acid Gentle Bubble Cleanser is a 140ml foam cleanser, used as your first step, morning and evening, on a face already wet with lukewarm water. The active it is built around is Bisabolol, named thirty-ninth on its own ingredient list. The same list carries Ceramide NP, Perilla Ocymoides Seed Extract and Glycine, so the active is not the only thing on it worth naming. How much of the Bisabolol stays on the skin, and for how long, is decided by the foam cleanser format rather than by the list alone. This is the Original Korean Formula, the foam cleanser Dr.Althea sells in Korea, Bisabolol and all.

## How to use

1. Use the Amino Acid Gentle Bubble Cleanser as your first step, morning and evening, on a face already wet with lukewarm water.
2. A short pump or a pea of product is enough. Work it into a lather in wet hands for about twenty seconds before it touches the face.
3. Rinse with lukewarm water and go straight on to your toner while skin is still damp, because a humectant layer has more to hold on to on a damp face.
4. Twice a day is the ceiling. Do not follow it with a second cleanse in the morning, when there is no sunscreen or makeup left on the face to remove.

## FAQ

### Where does this foam cleanser go in my routine?

As your first step, morning and evening, on a face already wet with lukewarm water. Nothing goes under it: this foam cleanser is the step everything else in the routine lands on top of. If you are adding it to a routine you already like, give it a week on its own first, so what you see is the Bisabolol and not three changes at once.

### Is this the Korean-market foam cleanser or a US version?

The Korean-market one, Bisabolol and all. We match this foam cleanser to its Korean barcode before it reaches the shelf, which is the check that tells you which market release you are holding.

### Does this foam cleanser contain fragrance?

Yes. The ingredient list names Limonene. It sits on the panel printed on this page, so you can read the position for yourself before you buy. If fragrance components are something you avoid, this foam cleanser is not the one.

### What else is on the list besides Bisabolol?

Ceramide NP, Perilla Ocymoides Seed Extract and Glycine. The order they are printed in on this foam cleanser's panel is the order on the box, so you can see where Bisabolol sits relative to them. Further down the same panel: Serine, Glutamic Acid and Aspartic Acid.
