## How it works

The Lash Boost Serum is an eye serum, used after toner and before your eye cream or moisturizer, morning and evening. The peptide it is built around is Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, named thirtieth on its own ingredient list. The same list carries Copper Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 and Nonapeptide-1, so the peptide is not the only thing on it worth naming. How much of the Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 stays on the skin, and for how long, is decided by the eye serum format rather than by the list alone. This is the Original Korean Formula, the eye serum Dr.Althea sells in Korea, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 and all.

## How to use

1. Use the Lash Boost Serum at the end of the evening routine, on clean dry lashes.
2. One pass of the applicator along the upper lash line, the way a liquid liner goes on. One coat is the dose, and a second pass over the same lashes does not add to it.
3. Everything else in the routine goes on first. The lashes need to be clean and completely dry when it goes on, because eye cream, oil or leftover mascara gives it a film to sit on instead of the lash line.
4. Once a day, in the evening. Do not run it along the waterline or let it into the eye itself; the base of the lashes is the closest it belongs.

## FAQ

### Where does this eye serum go in my routine?

After toner and before your eye cream or moisturizer, morning and evening. Anything thinner than an eye serum goes on before it, and anything richer goes on after. If you are adding it to a routine you already like, give it a week on its own first, so what you see is the Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 and not three changes at once.

### Is this the Korean-market eye serum or a US version?

The Korean-market one, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 and all. We match this eye serum to its Korean barcode before it reaches the shelf, which is the check that tells you which market release you are holding.

### What else is on the list besides Acetyl Hexapeptide-8?

Copper Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 and Nonapeptide-1. The order they are printed in on this eye serum's panel is the order on the box, so you can see where Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 sits relative to them. Further down the same panel: Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate, Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4.
