## How it works

The panel on this oil names five forms of centella asiatica rather than one: Centella Asiatica Oil, Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid, Centella Asiatica Extract. The oil-soluble fraction of centella, carried in a plant oil. It brings the fat-soluble part of the plant that a water extract leaves behind. On this panel it sits alongside Coconut Acid, Ficus Carica (Fig) Fruit Extract and Phytosphingosine. Coconut Acid is the mixed fatty acids of coconut oil. Combined with an alkali in the same formula it forms the soap that does the cleansing.
