The panel on this sheet mask names six forms of hyaluronic acid rather than one: Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Hydroxypropyl Trimonium Hyaluronate, Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate. Sodium Hyaluronate is the salt of hyaluronic acid, and it is what most products labelled hyaluronic actually contain. The salt dissolves more readily and the molecule is smaller, so it sits in the outer layer of skin rather than only on top of it. On this panel it sits alongside Palmitic Acid, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil and Adenosine. Palmitic Acid is a saturated fatty acid present in skin's own lipids. It thickens a formula, stabilises the emulsion and softens skin.

## How to use

1. Unfold the sheet and smooth it onto a cleansed face, adjusting it around the eyes, nose and mouth. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, then remove and pat any remaining essence into the skin rather than rinsing it off.
