## How it works

3-O- Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is named on the ingredient panel on this serum. 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is a stable vitamin C derivative that skin converts to ascorbic acid. It survives in a formula far better than pure vitamin C and works at a gentler pH, so it suits skin that finds the pure acid uncomfortable. On this panel it sits alongside Niacinamide, Melia Azadirachta Flower Extract and Ocimum Sanctum Leaf Extract. Niacinamide is vitamin B3, and it is the most studied active in Korean formulation. It is used at roughly 2 to 5 percent for the look of uneven tone and visible pores, and it is water soluble, stable and comfortable beside almost every other active, which is why it turns up in so many lists.

## How to use

1. Apply after toner on barely damp skin, pressing three or four drops across the face.
2. Wait a minute before your moisturiser so the two layers do not roll together.
3. Always finish a morning routine that includes this with sunscreen as the last step.
4. Do not stack it with an exfoliating acid in the same routine while either is still new to you.
