## Key benefits

- Niacinamide on the same panel, the formula's active
- Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract on the same panel, the formula's plant extract
- 30 ml to a unit
- Korean-market formula, with its Korean barcode and batch code intact on the box

## How it works

The panel on this formula names three forms of retinol rather than one: Retinal, Retinyl Acetate, Retinyl Retinoate. Retinal is retinaldehyde, a vitamin A derivative one chemical step closer to retinoic acid than retinol is. It is yellow-orange and unstable in light, so products carrying it are usually opaque. On this panel it sits alongside Niacinamide, Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract and Tocopherol. Niacinamide is vitamin B3, and it is the most studied active in Korean formulation. It is used at roughly 2 to 5 percent for the look of uneven tone and visible pores, and it is water soluble, stable and comfortable beside almost every other active, which is why it turns up in so many lists.

## How to use

1. Apply a few drops to clean skin after toner, morning or night as directed on the pack, and follow with moisturizer to seal it in. Ampoules are typically used as a concentrated course rather than an everyday staple.

## FAQ

### How do I use this ampoule?

Apply a few drops to clean skin after toner, morning or night as directed on the pack, and follow with moisturizer to seal it in. Ampoules are typically used as a concentrated course rather than an everyday staple.

### Is an ampoule the same as a serum?

It sits in the same step but at a higher concentration, so many people use it as a shorter, more intensive course rather than every single day.
