## How it works

The panel on this serum names five forms of peptide rather than one: Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Copper Tripeptide-1, Oligopeptide-29, Oligopeptide-32, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4. Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 is a six-amino-acid peptide used for the look of expression lines, particularly around the eyes. It is the peptide sold under the name Argireline and is water soluble and stable. On this panel it sits alongside Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Allantoin and Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit Extract. Witch hazel distillate, used in place of part of the plain water in a formula. It is much more dilute than the extract, and commercial witch hazel water often carries alcohol.
