The panel on this sleeping mask names five forms of centella asiatica rather than one: Centella Asiatica Extract, Madecassoside, Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid. Centella Asiatica is the plant behind the whole cica category, sold as gotu kola or Madagascar centella. Its extract is the anchor of Korean formulas built for easily reddened skin, and its work is done by four triterpenes: asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid.

## How to use

1. Use it as the last step at night, over serum, with nothing going on after it.
2. A thicker layer than you would use for a night cream, spread evenly and left in place.
3. It replaces your night cream on the nights you use it rather than going over one.
4. Two or three nights a week to start. Do not rinse it off before bed, because the hours it stays on are the whole point.
