## How it works

Betula Platyphylla Japonica Juice leads the ingredient panel on this toner. Betula Platyphylla Japonica Juice is Asian white birch sap, tapped in spring. It is over 98 percent water with trace minerals and sugars, and Korean formulas use it in place of plain water as a hydrating base. On this panel it sits alongside Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Ascorbic Acid and Allantoin. Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate is a water-soluble salt derived from licorice root. It is the licorice fraction Korean formulas use for the look of redness, and it is far more stable in water than the whole extract.

## How to use

1. Use one pad from the Birch Moisturizing Pad straight after cleansing, morning and evening.
2. Sweep the textured side outward across the face, then press the smooth side over anywhere that felt tight.
3. It replaces the toner step, so serum and moisturizer follow it in the usual order while skin is still damp.
4. One pad a session, twice a day. Do not go back over the same area again and again; a soaked pad is an application tool, not a scrub.

## FAQ

### Is the Birch Moisturizing Pad 80ct on this page the Korean-market formula?

Yes. It is the release Round Lab makes for sale inside Korea. The same product name can carry a different ingredient list or a different size in an export version, and we list only the Korean one. Round Lab is one of the brands where we have documented a Korean formula and a US formula that genuinely differ.

### Where does the Birch Moisturizing Pad 80ct sit in a routine?

It occupies the toner step. Build the routine around the step you are replacing rather than the brand you recognise: a cleanser, a hydrating toner, one serum and one moisturizer is a complete routine, and four products chosen carefully tell you more about your skin than ten bought at once.

### What size is the Birch Moisturizing Pad 80ct?

80 pads. That is the size Round Lab sells in Korea for this product; it is the same size sold in Korea: we do not substitute an export format or a US size for the Korean one.

### How does buying the Birch Moisturizing Pad 80ct here compare with a US retailer?

The unit sold here is the unit built for the Korean market, with the Korean barcode and batch code intact on the box. A US listing carrying the same product name may be the export version and rarely tells you which one it is sending.
