## How it works

The panel on this cream names six forms of centella asiatica rather than one: Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassoside, Madecassic Acid. Centella Asiatica is the plant behind the whole cica category, sold as gotu kola or Madagascar centella. Its extract is the anchor of Korean formulas built for easily reddened skin, and its work is done by four triterpenes: asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid. On this panel it sits alongside Pinus Densiflora Leaf Extract, Biosaccharide Gum-1 and Gluconolactone. Pinus Densiflora is Korean red pine, a plant with a long history in Korean traditional use. The needle extract is used as an antioxidant plant extract.

## How to use

1. Take a small amount after your serum and press it over the face, working outward from the centre.
2. Go lighter over the nose and forehead if those areas run oily, and heavier on the cheeks if they run dry.
3. Let it settle for a minute before makeup so nothing rolls up over it.
4. Avoid using more than you need on a warm day, because a cream that never fully settles is what makes makeup slide.

## FAQ

### What is Pine Calming Cica Cream 50ml?

It is a daily face cream from Round Lab, made for skin that flushes easily, feels tight after cleansing or reacts to most new products. It is the last leave-on step, going on after your toner, essence and serum. The result you can judge yourself is whether your skin looks calmer and feels less tight through the day.

### Where does Pine Calming Cica Cream 50ml go in my routine?

It is the last leave-on step, going on after your toner, essence and serum. In practice: Smooth a small amount over the face and neck as your last leave-on step, morning and night, after your serum. Applying it out of that order is the usual reason a step seems to do nothing.

### Is Pine Calming Cica Cream 50ml right for my skin type?

It is aimed at skin that flushes easily, feels tight after cleansing or reacts to most new products. The skin types we would put first are sensitive skin, dry skin and combination skin. Reactive skin usually does better with fewer steps and no fragrance stacked on top, so keep the routine around it simple while you judge it.

### Is this too heavy for oily or combination skin?

Judge it by the area rather than the whole face. Most people with combination skin can use a cream like this on the cheeks and jaw and something thinner across the nose and forehead. If your skin feels shiny an hour after applying it everywhere, use half as much and see whether that fixes it before you switch products.

### Is this Pine Calming Cica Cream 50ml the authentic Korean-market formula?

Yes. We stock the Round Lab Korean-market formula rather than a version reformulated for US shelves. The jar you open is the 50ml one sold on Korean shelves, with Korean-primary packaging and an intact barcode you can check yourself.
