## How it works

Pantothenic Acid is named on the ingredient panel on this toner. Pantothenic Acid is vitamin B5, the form skin converts panthenol into. It is used as a conditioning humectant that leaves skin feeling soft rather than tight. On this panel it sits alongside Salicylic Acid, Allantoin and Centella Asiatica Extract. Salicylic Acid is a BHA, and the only common exfoliant that is oil soluble, so it can work inside a pore rather than only on the surface. It loosens the dead cells that block pores and is used for the look of congested, oily skin.
