The panel on this serum names five forms of ginseng rather than one: Hydrolyzed Ginseng Saponins, Panax Ginseng Seed Oil, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Panax Ginseng Leaf/stem Extract, Panax Ginseng Flower Extract. The ginsenoside fraction of ginseng root broken into smaller pieces, usually with an enzyme acting on red ginseng. Smaller ginsenosides dissolve and spread more easily than the whole extract. On this panel it sits alongside Niacinamide, Cacao (cocoa) Extract and Rehmannia Glutinosa Root Extract. Niacinamide is vitamin B3, and it is the most studied active in Korean formulation.
