## How it works

The panel on this cream names nine forms of peptide rather than one: Copper Tripeptide-1, Caffeoyl Hexapeptide-65, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, SH-Oligopeptide-1, SH-Oligopeptide-2, SH-Polypeptide-11. Copper Tripeptide-1 is three amino acids bound to a copper ion, and the classic firming peptide in cosmetic chemistry. It is blue in solution, which is often why a serum carrying it is tinted, and it is used for the look of firmness and fine lines. On this panel it sits alongside Niacinamide, Palmitic Acid and Coptis Japonica Root Extract. Niacinamide is vitamin B3, and it is the most studied active in Korean formulation. It is used at roughly 2 to 5 percent for the look of uneven tone and visible pores, and it is water soluble, stable and comfortable beside almost every other active, which is why it turns up in so many lists.

## How to use

1. Apply it as the final leave on step, after toner, essence and serum have all gone on.
2. Warm a small amount between the fingertips and press it over the face and down the neck.
3. Use a thinner layer in the morning under makeup and a fuller one at night when nothing goes on top.
4. Do not put a serum on over the top, since nothing thinner will pass through a cream once it is down.
