Terms of Service
Last updated: August 26, 2026.
These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place on it. By browsing the store or buying from it, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Who you are dealing with
Korean Pharmacy is a United States retailer of Korean market skincare. We buy stock made for the Korean domestic market, import it, hold it in a warehouse in California, and ship it to customers in the United States. We are a retailer, not a manufacturer, and not a pharmacy in the dispensing sense: we sell cosmetics, not prescription medicines.
Korean Pharmacy is operated by Syncta LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, doing business as Korean Pharmacy. State of formation: Wyoming, United States. Registered agent and principal office: Northwest Registered Agent, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States. Our fulfilment warehouse in California is a third party facility and is not operated by Syncta LLC. Where these terms say we, us or our, they mean Syncta LLC.
Who may order
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you order for a business, you confirm you may bind it. We sell to customers in the United States; the destinations available to you are the ones our checkout offers for your address.
Orders, prices and availability
- Prices are in United States dollars and include the import duty we have already paid on the goods. Shipping is added at checkout unless your order qualifies for free shipping.
- Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we accept it, which in practice is when we send the confirmation email.
- Stock is finite and shared with a live catalogue. If an item sells out between your order and its picking, we tell you and refund that line.
- We correct pricing and inventory errors. Where a product has been listed at an obviously wrong price through a technical or human mistake, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil at the wrong price.
- Discount codes are not combinable unless we say so, carry expiry dates, and may be withdrawn if they are abused.
- We may cap quantities on a product to stop one buyer clearing the shelf. Any cap is shown on the product page or at checkout.
Payment
Checkout and payment are handled by Shopify. The payment methods available to you are the ones shown at checkout. Card details are submitted to the payment processor directly and never reach our systems. Placing an order authorises the charge for the full order total, including tax, duty and shipping.
Shipping, duties and returns
The full terms live in our shipping policy and our refund policy, and those documents govern. In short: dispatch within 24 hours from California, 3 to 5 business days in transit, free shipping at $100 and above, duties prepaid so nothing is owed at delivery, and a 30 day return window on which we pay the return postage for every eligible return.
What we say about the products
Every product we list is the release made for the Korean domestic market, recorded against the EAN barcode printed on the Korean box. We publish the authenticity verification route for each brand on its product pages, and where a brand runs no verification scheme we say that instead of inventing one.
Ingredient lists, sizes and manufacturer claims are transcribed from the manufacturer. Formulations change, and a batch on the shelf can differ from the list published online; the package in your hands is the authority, and we would rather you read it. Colour, texture and scent vary slightly between batches.
Sun care products in our catalogue are Korean market formulas, developed and rated under Korean testing standards. We make no United States sun protection claim about them.
This is not medical advice
Everything we publish about skin, ingredients and routines is educational. It is not medical advice, it does not diagnose anything, and it is no substitute for a clinician who can see your skin. Patch test a new product before you commit to it. If you have a skin condition, a known allergy, or you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a clinician first.
Where a page carries a review byline, that byline names Nurcan Saglam, a licensed dermo-cosmetic expert in Paris. Nurcan is not a medical dermatologist or a physician. Her commentary is a professional opinion on formulation, not personalised medical advice. For personal skin concerns, consult your own dermatologist.
Your account
If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your credentials to yourself and for anything done under it. Tell us at once if you think someone else has got in.
What you agree not to do
- Use the site for anything unlawful, or in breach of these terms.
- Attempt to reach parts of the site that are not public, or to interfere with its security.
- Scrape, harvest or run automated tools against the site without our written permission.
- Buy from us to resell commercially without a wholesale agreement in writing.
- Post false reviews, impersonate anyone, or interfere with other customers.
Our content
The text, photography, structure, illustrations and code on this site are ours or used with permission, and our editorial writing is original work rather than manufacturer copy. Please do not republish it without asking. Brand names, logos and trademarks of the products we resell belong to their owners and appear here to identify genuine goods we have bought and are reselling.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or of a product bought on it, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid for the product the claim concerns or $100. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects the consumer rights your state gives you.
Warranties
Products are sold as genuine and in the condition described. We do not warrant that any product will produce a particular result on your skin, because it will not do the same thing on every face. Manufacturer warranties, where they exist, pass through to you unchanged. Otherwise products are supplied as is, to the extent the law allows, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
If there is a dispute
Write to us first. Almost everything is settled at that step, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about it.
Binding individual arbitration, limited scope. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to (a) your use of this site, (b) your payment for or purchase of products from Korean Pharmacy, or (c) the provision of products and services to you by Syncta LLC, that is not resolved informally within 30 days, is resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures then in effect. The arbitration takes place in Sheridan, Wyoming, or, at your election, by telephone or video, and is conducted in English. The decision of the arbitrator is final and binding. Each party bears its own attorneys' fees unless the arbitrator awards otherwise under applicable law. This arbitration agreement is limited to the scope set out above. For California resident customers, that scope complies with California Senate Bill 82, effective January 1, 2026, which limits consumer arbitration agreements to the use, payment, or provision of the goods or services purchased.
Class action waiver. You and we agree that each may bring claims only on an individual basis, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding, except where applicable law prohibits that limit.
Small claims alternative. Either party may bring an individual action in a small claims court of competent jurisdiction, typically your local county court, instead of arbitration, if the claim qualifies.
Governing law and venue. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any claim that is not subject to arbitration and does not qualify for small claims court is brought in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your state of residence, including for California residents the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and SB 82, continue to apply to the extent they are required to.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms as the business changes. The revised version is posted here with a new date at the top, and the terms that apply to your order are the ones in force when you placed it.
The whole agreement
These terms, the privacy policy, the shipping policy and the refund policy are the entire agreement between us about this site and your purchases. If one provision turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stands. You may not assign your rights under these terms; we may assign ours if the business is sold or merged.
