About Korean-market toners
How is a Korean toner different from a US toner?
It is a hydrating step rather than the astringent wipe the word usually means in the US. It goes on after cleansing while skin is still damp, and it is built to be layered: the 7 skin method is one watery toner pressed on in several thin coats instead of a single heavy one. Choose a hydrating formula for tightness and flaking, and use an exfoliating toner only two or three times a week.
What about toner pads?
Toner pads are a Korean shelf staple and a thin slice of US retail, which is why so many of them here have no US counterpart to compare against.
