About Korean-market cleansers
Why do Korean routines cleanse twice?
Because oil and water lift different things. An oil or balm goes on dry skin first and loosens sunscreen, makeup and a day of sebum; a low pH gel or foam follows on wet skin and takes the rest. If skin feels tight after washing, the second cleanse is usually the step to change: a lower pH formula used briefly is gentler than a stronger one used quickly.
What is different about a Korean-market cleanser?
Mostly format and pH. Korean shelves carry cleansing balms, sherbets and pump oils in sizes that often never reach US retail, and the low pH gels often carry their pH value printed on the box. Every cleanser here is listed with its barcode and the ingredient list, so you can compare it against a US release of the same name.
