How it works
A balm conditions the surface of a lip; it does not take off skin that is already lifting, which is what a scrub is for. This is the scrub step, used on damp lips and rinsed or wiped away rather than left on. It goes before the balm or the overnight mask, on the evenings lips look flaky rather than simply dry. A few light circles is the whole job, because sugar melts as it works and the pressure is not what does it. Twice a week is plenty, and every scrub session should end with something left on the lips.
Key benefits
- Sugar is the first ingredient, doing the actual polishing
- Shea butter and candelilla wax cushion the buff
- Honey and cocoa extract finish the balm side
- Lips feel smooth, not stripped, after rinsing
Key actives
Sucrose
fine sugar crystals that buff away flakes

COSRX Full Fit Honey Sugar Lip Scrub
What is this lip scrub for?
Sucrose is the first ingredient on this scrub's list, doing the physical buffing, set inside a base of caprylic/capric triglyceride, glycerin and candelilla wax. Shea butter and honey appear further down the list to cushion the buff and finish the balm, so the product is meant to remove flaky surface skin before a lip treatment rather than as a leave-on step itself.
Is this scrub too harsh for chapped or sensitive lips?
The abrasive is sugar itself rather than a synthetic bead, and the list carries no fragrance, essential oil or denatured alcohol, which keeps the formula relatively mild for already-dry lips. Shea butter and the candelilla wax base cushion the buffing action so it is not scraping bare skin. Massaging gently rather than pressing hard is still the way to keep it comfortable on chapped lips.
How often should I use a lip scrub like this?
This is a periodic exfoliating step rather than a daily one, since repeated buffing on lip skin can be irritating if overdone. A few evenings a week, massaged over damp lips and then rinsed or wiped away, is a reasonable starting cadence, adjusted down if lips feel tender afterward.
Should I follow this scrub with a lip balm or sleeping mask?
Yes, since this scrub is formulated to be massaged in and then rinsed or wiped away rather than left on, following it with a balm or overnight lip treatment is the intended next step. The scrub's own honey and shea butter finish leaves a light cushion, but it is not a substitute for a leave-on moisturizing step.

How to use
- Use the Full Fit Honey Sugar Lip Scrub in the evening, on lips damp rather than dry, before any balm.
- A small amount on a fingertip, massaged over the lips in light circles for under a minute.
- Wipe or rinse it away, then finish with a lip balm or an overnight mask while lips are still soft.
- Twice a week at most. Do not scrub lips that are cracked or split; wait until the surface is closed.
Worth knowing
- Propolis and/or honey are animal-derived, so this is not a vegan formula.
