Key actives
Succinic Acid
Succinic Acid is a small organic acid used for the look of blemish-prone skin and as a pH adjuster. It is far milder than an AHA at the levels used here.
Morinda Citrifolia Fruit Extract
Noni fruit extract, also declared as Indian mulberry. It carries fruit acids, vitamin C and polysaccharides and is used as a conditioning antioxidant extract.
Cryptomeria Japonica Leaf Extract
Cryptomeria Japonica is Japanese cedar. Its leaf extract is used as an aromatic antioxidant plant extract.
Coptis Chinensis Root Extract
Chinese goldthread root, a traditional herbal ingredient carrying berberine. It is bright yellow and is used in formulas aimed at the look of congested skin.
How to use
- Use it after toner and before moisturizer, in the evening to begin with, on skin dry to the touch.
- Three or four drops for the face, with an extra pass wherever congestion actually is.
- Follow with a moisturizer, and put sunscreen on the next morning.
- A few evenings a week at first, then daily if it suits. Do not use it alongside another exfoliating step on the same night.
Purito Seoul Clear Code Superfruit Serum
What does Panthenol do in this formula?
Panthenol is provitamin B5, a humectant and soothing ingredient used across toners, serums and creams. On this formula's own ingredient list it sits listed after the base and thickeners, still well within the formula's active portion.
Is this the Korean-market formula or a US version?
This is the Korean-market formula Purito Seoul sells on shelves in Korea, not a version reformulated for the US shelf.
What step does this serum or ampoule go in a routine?
Apply a small amount to cleansed, toned skin, pat in gently, then follow with a moisturizer.
Can I use this with other actives in my routine?
Panthenol generally layers well alongside a normal routine; introduce any new active gradually and watch how your skin responds over the first week or two.
