How it works
This is a finishing or blotting step over makeup or sunscreen. TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL's Artclass By Rodin Finish Setting Powder in its 10g size centers its formula on squalane, a lightweight, skin-identical emollient that softens texture without a heavy film. The rest of the formula is built to carry squalane to the skin evenly rather than to add a second hero ingredient of its own. Because it stays on the skin, what matters is how it settles. It should sink in within a minute or two and leave the surface ready for the next step, not sitting on top of it undissolved.
Key benefits
- leaves a cushioned, non-tight finish rather than a heavy film
- sets the finish without a chalky or heavy cast
- carries the intact Korean-market packaging and batch code rather than an over-labeled substitute
- layers cleanly into a multi-step Korean routine without pilling
How to use
- Apply last, after foundation, concealer and blush, pressing or dusting lightly over the T-zone and anywhere shine tends to show first.
Where does this go in a makeup routine?
Last, after all other base and color makeup, to set the look and control shine.
Does it work over sunscreen and makeup?
Yes. It is designed to sit on top of a finished base rather than mix into it, so a light dusting over sunscreen or foundation locks the finish in place without disturbing the color or shifting the coverage underneath. Use a fluffy brush and go over high-shine areas first, since a small amount goes a long way.
