How it works
This feminine wash from AROMATICA is formulated for the Korean market and sold here as that exact formula, not a US-shelf reformulation. Its gentle texture is built for the role it plays in a routine: a daily intimate-cleansing step, used in place of a regular soap or body wash. AROMATICA is a Korean natural and organic beauty brand, COSMOS-certified on much of its range, best known for its scalp and hair-care line and for essential-oil-forward body, hand, and home-care formulas built on plant-derived material rather than synthetic fragrance. The packaging, barcode, and batch code all trace back to the same product sold on its home market. It is meant to be used consistently at a daily intimate-cleansing step rather than as an occasional treatment.
Key benefits
- The authentic Korean-market feminine wash formula, sourced and, not a US-shelf reformulation
- Arrives with its Korean-market barcode and batch code intact for a direct authenticity check against the packaging
- Fits the a daily intimate-cleansing step, used in place of a regular soap or body wash
- Reviewed for accuracy by a licensed dermo-cosmetic expert before it reaches the product page
How to use
- Use a small amount with water during a regular shower to cleanse the external area, then rinse thoroughly.
What does the AROMATICA wash texture feel like on skin?
It applies as a gentle texture that settles in within a minute or two rather than sitting on the surface. Because it is the Korean-market formula rather than a US-shelf reformulation, the finish matches what the same product feels like on shelf in Korea, not a version adjusted for a different market's regulations.
Where does this feminine wash fit in a Korean skincare routine?
It sits at a daily intimate-cleansing step, used in place of a regular soap or body wash. Korean routines are built as layers rather than a single all-in-one step, so using it out of order, for example before a lighter product that needs to absorb first, is the most common reason a product underperforms its expectations.
Is this the authentic Korean-market version, and how is it different from what US retailers sell?
Yes: AROMATICA formulates this line for the Korean market first, and this is that exact formula rather than a separately registered US version. Some Korean brands sell a reformulated line through US retailers with different actives or filter systems to clear US regulations, and this is not that product.
Who should reach for this feminine wash first?
Anyone already using AROMATICA's other products will notice the same formulation logic here, and it is a reasonable first pick for someone building out a Korean routine around this step for the first time. Skin that reacts to heavy fragrance loads should still read the full ingredient panel on the product page before committing to daily use.
How should this be stored and how long does it last once opened?
Keep it out of direct sun and away from bathroom heat and humidity, the way any Korean-formulated skincare should be stored, and use a clean hand or spatula rather than repeatedly dipping wet fingers into the container. A sealed, unopened unit keeps for the shelf life printed on its own Korean-market batch code, which is intact on every unit we ship.

13 of 16 explained
- Water solvent
- Water is the base almost every serum, toner and cream is built on. It dissolves the water-loving ingredients and sets how light the finished texture feels. On an INCI list it is usually first, which only means it is the largest single ingredient by weight.
- Diglycerin humectant
- Diglycerin is two glycerin units joined together. It holds water like glycerin but feels less tacky, so it is used where a formula needs hydration without drag.
- Coco-Betaine surfactant
- Coco-Betaine is a coconut-derived secondary surfactant used to build foam and make a cleanser milder.
- Lonicera Japonica (honeysuckle) Flower Extract plant extract
- Honeysuckle flower extract, the geumeunhwa of Korean herbal practice. It resists microbes as well as conditioning, so it often doubles as part of a preservative system.
- Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract plant extract
- Aloe Leaf Extract is mostly water with polysaccharides, amino acids and mild plant acids. It hydrates and leaves a light, cooling film, which is why it is the default after-sun ingredient.
- Sodium Chloride thickener
- Sodium Chloride is salt. In a cleanser it thickens the liquid; in a mask or essence it balances the mineral content of the water phase. It has no active role.
- Propanediol humectant
- Propanediol is a plant-derived glycol used in place of propylene glycol. It hydrates, carries actives into solution, and gives a lighter, less sticky slip than glycerin at the same strength.
- Ethylhexylglycerin preservative booster
- Ethylhexylglycerin softens skin and boosts a preservative system, which is why it is nearly always sitting beside phenoxyethanol or 1,2-hexanediol. It also cuts down the odour bacteria produce, so it turns up in deodorising products.
- Glycerin humectant
- Glycerin is the most used humectant in skincare. It draws water into the outer layer of skin and holds it there, and it is one of the very few ingredients whose hydrating effect is settled science rather than marketing. Higher amounts feel tacky, which is why it is usually blended.
- Lactic Acid exfoliant
- Lactic Acid is a larger AHA than glycolic, so it works nearer the surface and is easier on skin, and it is a humectant as well as an exfoliant. It is the AHA of choice for dry skin.
- Chamomilla Recutita (matricaria) Flower Extract plant extract
- Chamomile Flower Extract is one of the oldest ingredients in skincare, carrying bisabolol and chamazulene. It is used for the look of redness in formulas for reactive skin.
- Rosmarinus Officinalis (rosemary) Leaf Extract plant extract
- Rosemary Leaf Extract carries rosmarinic and carnosic acids, both effective antioxidants. It is often there to keep the oils in a formula from going rancid.
1 more ingredient explained
- Maltodextrin film former
- Maltodextrin is a starch-derived sugar chain used to carry powdered extracts and to form a light film. It also gives a soft, smoothing feel.

Worth knowing
- Patch test on the inner arm before a first full application if you are trying a new Korean formula for the first time, since a fragrance or botanical extract that suits most skin can still be the one thing an individual complexion does not tolerate.
- Introduce any new Korean-market formula on its own for the first few uses before layering it with the rest of an existing routine, so any reaction is easy to trace to a single product.
