How it works

As a cream-to-balm cheek and lip tint, this product's pigment is suspended in a soft, blendable base rather than a dry powder. Warming it between the fingertips before applying helps it melt slightly, which is what gives the finish its soft, dewy look rather than a hard-edged patch of color. Patting rather than rubbing it in is what keeps the edges soft and blended into the skin. Because the base is soft rather than long-wear, it can be built up gradually or blended out again easily if too much goes on at once. Most people notice a natural, flushed-looking finish right after blending it in.

How to use

Dab a small amount onto the back of the hand first to control the amount.
Pat lightly onto the apples of the cheeks with a fingertip.
Blend outward toward the hairline with light, patting motions.
Add a touch more to the lips if using it as a lip color too, rather than skipping straight to the next product.
