How to use
- Use the Daily Care Acne Bubble Foam Cleanser as your first step, morning and evening, on a face already wet with lukewarm water.
- Dispense a moderate amount onto the skin, gently massage in circular motions, and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Rinse with lukewarm water and go straight on to your toner while skin is still damp, because a humectant layer has more to hold on to on a damp face.
- Twice a day is the ceiling. Do not follow it with a second cleanse in the morning, when there is no sunscreen or makeup left on the face to remove.
Does this product contain added fragrance?
No. Neither fragrance nor parfum appears on the ingredient list for EUNYUL Daily Care Acne Bubble Foam Cleanser 500ml. Those are the two names a cosmetic label uses for an added scent blend, so a formula carrying one would name it. The full list is printed in the Ingredients section of this page.
Does this product contain essential oils?
Yes. The ingredient list for EUNYUL Daily Care Acne Bubble Foam Cleanser 500ml includes Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil. Aromatic plant oils are listed under their botanical name rather than as fragrance, so they are named separately from any fragrance or parfum entry.
Are any declarable fragrance allergens listed?
No. None of the 26 fragrance components that EU cosmetic labelling requires to be named individually appear on the ingredient list for EUNYUL Daily Care Acne Bubble Foam Cleanser 500ml. They are the components most often reported as contact allergens, which is why that rule names them one by one.
Does this product contain denatured or SD alcohol?
No. The ingredient list for EUNYUL Daily Care Acne Bubble Foam Cleanser 500ml names no denatured alcohol, SD alcohol or ethanol. Fatty alcohols such as cetyl and cetearyl alcohol are a different class of ingredient, used as emollients and thickeners, and are not counted here.
Not on the ingredient list below: fragrance or parfum, denatured or SD alcohol, silicones, parabens, sulfate surfactants, mineral oil or petrolatum and added color.

22 of 23 explained
- Water solvent
- Water is the base almost every serum, toner and cream is built on. It dissolves the water-loving ingredients and sets how light the finished texture feels. On an INCI list it is usually first, which only means it is the largest single ingredient by weight.
- Lauryl Betaine surfactant
- Lauryl Betaine is a secondary surfactant that boosts foam and thickens a cleanser while reducing how stripping the main surfactant feels.
- Glycerin humectant
- Glycerin is the most used humectant in skincare. It draws water into the outer layer of skin and holds it there, and it is one of the very few ingredients whose hydrating effect is settled science rather than marketing. Higher amounts feel tacky, which is why it is usually blended.
- Lauric Acid fatty acid
- Lauric Acid is the coconut fatty acid that gives soap-style cleansers their dense foam. It is not well suited to blemish-prone skin at high levels.
- Dipropylene Glycol humectant
- Dipropylene Glycol is a glycol used as a solvent and a light humectant. Its main job is keeping the rest of the formula dissolved and the texture fluid rather than adding hydration of its own.
- Sorbitol humectant
- Sorbitol is a sugar alcohol used as a humectant. It hydrates like glycerin with a smoother, less sticky finish, and it adds a little body to watery textures.
- Potassium Hydroxide pH adjuster
- Potassium Hydroxide is a strong base used in traces to raise a formula to its target pH. In a soap-style cleanser it also converts fatty acids into the surfactant that does the cleansing.
- Myristic Acid fatty acid
- Myristic Acid is a saturated fatty acid used to thicken and, with a base added, to build the foam in a soap-style cleanser.
- Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Extract plant extract
- Tea Tree Leaf Extract is the water-based extract rather than the essential oil, so it is far milder and much less aromatic. It is used in formulas for blemish-prone skin.
- Centella Asiatica Extract plant extract
- Centella Asiatica is the plant behind the whole cica category, sold as gotu kola or Madagascar centella. Its extract is the anchor of Korean formulas built for easily reddened skin, and its work is done by four triterpenes: asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid.
- Portulaca Oleracea Extract plant extract
- Portulaca Oleracea is purslane. Its extract is unusually high in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants for a plant, and Korean formulas use it for the look of reddened, reactive skin.
- Mentha Suaveolens (Apple Mint) Leaf Extract plant extract
- Round-leaved mint leaf extract, one of the mild mints. It is used as a conditioning extract and carries a light mint scent.
10 more explained
- Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract plant extract
- Witch hazel leaf extract, taken from the leaf rather than the bark. Like the bark it carries tannins and gives an astringent feel.
- Melissa Officinalis (Lemon Balm) Leaf Extract plant extract
- Lemon balm extract, a mint-family herb rich in rosmarinic acid. It is used as an antioxidant conditioning extract with a light lemon scent.
- Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil fragrance component
- Rosemary Leaf Oil is an essential oil carrying camphor and cineole. It scents a formula and is a stronger aromatic than most.
- Salicylic Acid exfoliant
- Salicylic Acid is a BHA, and the only common exfoliant that is oil soluble, so it can work inside a pore rather than only on the surface. It loosens the dead cells that block pores and is used for the look of congested, oily skin.
- Polysorbate 20 emulsifier
- Polysorbate 20 is a solubiliser: it dissolves small amounts of oil or fragrance into a watery formula so nothing separates or floats.
- Stearic Acid fatty acid
- Stearic Acid is a saturated fatty acid from plant fats, and one of the three lipid classes skin's own barrier is built from. In a formula it thickens, stabilises the emulsion and can be turned into a soap-style cleanser by adding a base.
- Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate surfactant
- An amino acid surfactant made from coconut fatty acids and glutamic acid. It cleanses at a mildly acidic pH and is among the gentler foaming surfactants.
- Diglycerin humectant
- Diglycerin is two glycerin units joined together. It holds water like glycerin but feels less tacky, so it is used where a formula needs hydration without drag.
- Sodium Benzoate preservative
- Sodium Benzoate is a mild preservative that works only in acidic formulas. It is usually paired with potassium sorbate, and the pair is the standard choice where a brand wants no phenoxyethanol.
- Ethylhexylglycerin preservative booster
- Ethylhexylglycerin softens skin and boosts a preservative system, which is why it is nearly always sitting beside phenoxyethanol or 1,2-hexanediol. It also cuts down the odour bacteria produce, so it turns up in deodorising products.
