How to use
- Use the Green-Tox Sebum Out Peel Off Pack after toner, in place of your serum step, in the evening.
- Apply a moderate amount evenly over the face, avoiding the eye and lip areas. Leave on for approximately 15 minutes, or until completely dry, then gently peel off from the bottom.
- Take it off at the time printed on the pack, pat in the essence left behind rather than rinsing, then go straight to your moisturizer.
- Two or three evenings a week is a normal rhythm. Do not leave it on past its time; a sheet that has gone dry takes moisture back off the face as it goes.
Does this product contain added fragrance?
Yes. The ingredient list for MIGUHARA Green-Tox Sebum Out Peel Off Pack 100g includes Fragrance. That is the label name for an added scent blend, whose individual components are not itemised beyond any allergens the label declares separately. The full list is printed in the Ingredients section of this page.
Are any declarable fragrance allergens listed?
No. None of the 26 fragrance components that EU cosmetic labelling requires to be named individually appear on the ingredient list for MIGUHARA Green-Tox Sebum Out Peel Off Pack 100g. They are the components most often reported as contact allergens, which is why that rule names them one by one.
Does this product contain denatured or SD alcohol?
Yes. The ingredient list for MIGUHARA Green-Tox Sebum Out Peel Off Pack 100g includes Alcohol Denat. That is the solvent form of alcohol, and it is a different ingredient from the fatty alcohols such as cetyl and cetearyl alcohol that many formulas use as emollients.
Not on the ingredient list below: essential oils, silicones, parabens, sulfate surfactants, mineral oil or petrolatum and added color.

32 of 34 explained
- Water solvent
- Water is the base almost every serum, toner and cream is built on. It dissolves the water-loving ingredients and sets how light the finished texture feels. On an INCI list it is usually first, which only means it is the largest single ingredient by weight.
- Alcohol Denat solvent
- Alcohol Denat. is ethanol with a bitter additive that makes it undrinkable, which is a tax rule rather than a formulation choice. It behaves like alcohol: a fast-evaporating solvent that gives a weightless finish and can feel drying at higher levels.
- Polyvinyl Alcohol film former
- Polyvinyl Alcohol is the polymer behind peel-off masks: it dries into a continuous film that lifts away in one piece.
- Methylpropanediol humectant
- Methylpropanediol is a small glycol used to hydrate and to help water-soluble actives penetrate the outer layer of skin more evenly. It leaves almost no tack, which suits watery textures.
- PVP film former
- PVP is polyvinylpyrrolidone, a water-soluble polymer that dries into a clear flexible film. It holds pigment or hair in place and washes off with water.
- Glycerin humectant
- Glycerin is the most used humectant in skincare. It draws water into the outer layer of skin and holds it there, and it is one of the very few ingredients whose hydrating effect is settled science rather than marketing. Higher amounts feel tacky, which is why it is usually blended.
- 1,2-Hexanediol humectant
- 1,2-Hexanediol is a glycol used for two reasons: it holds water like glycerin, and it makes a formula harder for microbes to live in, so less traditional preservative is needed. Korean formulas use it heavily for that second reason.
- Polyglyceryl-10 Oleate emulsifier
- Polyglyceryl-10 Oleate is a mild sugar-derived emulsifier and solubiliser used where a formula must stay clear.
- Hydroxyacetophenone preservative booster
- Hydroxyacetophenone is an antioxidant that also strengthens a preservative system, so a formula needs less traditional preservative. Korean formulas pair it with 1,2-hexanediol constantly.
- Camellia Sinensis Leaf Powder absorbent
- Green tea leaf ground to a powder. In a formula it is a mild physical grain and an absorbent, and it tints the product green.
- Fragrance fragrance
- Fragrance, or Parfum, is a single declaration standing for a whole scent blend, which can be dozens of materials. Regulators allow it as a trade secret, so a list showing only this word does not say what the scent is made of. It is the most common trigger named by people with reactive skin.
- Sphingomonas Ferment Extract ferment
- Sphingomonas Ferment Extract is the liquid left after Sphingomonas bacteria have fermented a sugar substrate. It carries water-holding polysaccharides and is used as a conditioning ferment.
20 more explained
- Cellulose Gum thickener
- Cellulose Gum is plant cellulose modified to dissolve in water. It thickens, holds particles in suspension and gives a smooth, slippery body.
- Citric Acid pH adjuster
- Citric Acid is used in tiny amounts to bring a formula to the pH its actives need, not as an exfoliant at that level. It is an AHA, so at much higher concentrations it can also exfoliate.
- Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract plant extract
- Camellia Sinensis is the tea plant. Green tea leaf extract carries catechins, among the most studied plant antioxidants, and is used for the look of redness and oily shine.
- Panthenol humectant
- Panthenol is pro-vitamin B5: skin converts it to pantothenic acid. It is a humectant that holds water and leaves skin feeling soft and less tight, and it is one of the ingredients formulators reach for when a formula also contains something harsh.
- Disodium EDTA chelator
- EDTA is a chelator: it locks up trace metal ions from water and packaging that would otherwise turn a formula cloudy, off-colour or rancid. It does nothing to skin and appears at a fraction of a percent.
- Butylene Glycol humectant
- Butylene Glycol is a small glycol that does two jobs at once: it holds water in the top layer of skin and it dissolves plant extracts and actives that plain water cannot. It also thins a formula, which is why watery Korean essences lean on it.
- Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract plant extract
- Chamomile Flower Extract is one of the oldest ingredients in skincare, carrying bisabolol and chamazulene. It is used for the look of redness in formulas for reactive skin.
- Chrysanthemum Zawadskii Extract plant extract
- Korean mountain chrysanthemum extract. It carries flavonoids and is used for the look of reddened, reactive skin.
- Gluconolactone exfoliant
- Gluconolactone is a PHA, the gentlest exfoliant class. Its molecule is too large to penetrate quickly, so it smooths the surface without the sting of an AHA, and it is a humectant at the same time.
- Salicylic Acid exfoliant
- Salicylic Acid is a BHA, and the only common exfoliant that is oil soluble, so it can work inside a pore rather than only on the surface. It loosens the dead cells that block pores and is used for the look of congested, oily skin.
- Tocopherol antioxidant
- Tocopherol is vitamin E. It is an oil-soluble antioxidant that protects the oils in a formula from going rancid and works on skin as an emollient, and it is regularly paired with vitamin C because each keeps the other going for longer.
- Apium Graveolens (Celery) Extract plant extract
- Celery extract, carrying flavonoids, minerals and plant acids. It is used as a light conditioning extract.
- Spinacia Oleracea (Spinach) Leaf Extract plant extract
- Spinach leaf extract, carrying lutein, flavonoids and minerals. It is used as a plant antioxidant.
- Brassica Oleracea Capitata (Cabbage) Leaf Extract plant extract
- Cabbage leaf extract. The leaf carries sulphur compounds, vitamin C and vitamin K, and the extract is used as a conditioning antioxidant botanical.
- Brassica Oleracea Italica (Broccoli) Extract plant extract
- Broccoli extract, carrying sulforaphane and vitamin C. It is used as a plant antioxidant.
- Brassica Oleracea Acephala Leaf Extract plant extract
- Kale leaf extract, carrying carotenoids, vitamin C and glucosinolates. It is used as a plant antioxidant.
- Carum Petroselinum (Parsley) Extract plant extract
- Parsley extract, carrying apigenin, vitamin C and minerals. It is used as a conditioning antioxidant extract.
- Sedum Sarmentosum Extract plant extract
- Stringy stonecrop, the dollnamul eaten as a Korean spring green. It is a succulent, so its extract is watery and hydrating.
- Portulaca Oleracea Extract plant extract
- Portulaca Oleracea is purslane. Its extract is unusually high in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants for a plant, and Korean formulas use it for the look of reddened, reactive skin.
- Houttuynia Cordata Extract plant extract
- Houttuynia Cordata is heartleaf, and it is one of the two or three anchor plants of Korean calming skincare. Its extract carries quercitrin and other flavonoids and is used for the look of redness and blemish-prone skin.
