How it works
A tonic is thinner than an ampoule and covers a whole scalp faster, which is the difference that decides which one gets used. This one carries menthol, peppermint oil and camphor for the cooling, with salicylic acid for the flaky, congested feel and panthenol and allantoin behind them. It goes on a towel dried scalp, sectioned so the liquid reaches skin rather than sitting on hair, and it is left in. There is alcohol high on the list, which is part of why it dries so fast and worth knowing if your scalp is already dry. Use it after washing, every wash or every other one, and stop for a week if the scalp starts feeling tight.

Round Lab Pine Calming Cica Scalp Tonic 100ml
Is the Pine Calming Cica Scalp Tonic on this page the Korean-market formula?
Yes. It is the release Round Lab makes for sale inside Korea. The same product name can carry a different ingredient list or a different size in an export version, and we list only the Korean one. Round Lab is one of the brands where we have documented a Korean formula and a US formula that genuinely differ.
Where does the Pine Calming Cica Scalp Tonic sit in a routine?
It occupies hair. Build the routine around the step you are replacing rather than the brand you recognise: a cleanser, a hydrating toner, one serum and one moisturizer is a complete routine, and four products chosen carefully tell you more about your skin than ten bought at once.
What size is the Pine Calming Cica Scalp Tonic?
100 ml. That is the size Round Lab sells in Korea for this product; it is the same size sold in Korea: we do not substitute an export format or a US size for the Korean one.
How do I check that this Round Lab unit is genuine?
Round Lab publishes no verification route of its own, so ignore any third party site that claims to run one for it. Match the batch code on the box against the code printed on the bottle or tube itself; the two are stamped separately and should agree. Your unit ships with its Korean-market barcode and its batch code intact, because the production date stays yours to read.
How does buying the Pine Calming Cica Scalp Tonic here compare with a US retailer?
The unit sold here is the unit built for the Korean market, with the Korean barcode and batch code intact on the box. A US listing carrying the same product name may be the export version and rarely tells you which one it is sending.

We stock the version of a formula that is sold in Korea, not the release a brand prepares for another market under the same name.
Every unit keeps its original barcode and batch code intact, so the unit in your hands can be checked against the brand’s own records.
Import duties are paid by us before the parcel reaches you, so nothing is owed at the door, and returns run for 30 days.
Every claim on this page traces to the unit in the box, the barcode, the batch code and the price you can read for yourself.

How to use
- Use the Pine Calming Cica Scalp Tonic on a clean, towel-dried scalp, in the evening.
- Part the hair in sections and apply along each part, then massage it in with fingertips for a minute.
- It goes on after washing and before anything you style with. Nothing needs to go over it.
- Nightly, or on the evenings you wash. Do not rinse it out; a scalp treatment is a leave-on step.
Worth knowing
- Patch test on the inner arm before first use on the face, especially if trying this brand or formula for the first time.
- Store away from direct sunlight and heat so the formula and any actives inside stay stable through its shelf life.

BHAs like salicylic acid get really deep into the pores, whereas the water-soluble ones don't go as deep.

Allantoin can tone down the dryness of the individual cells. It increases the water content of the skin, which means it helps to hydrate and moisturize.
