How it works
This is the eye area version of the sealing step, in a texture chosen for skin that is thin and quick to look crepey. The dose is about the size of a grain for both eyes, which is why a small pot lasts months rather than weeks. It is applied around the orbital bone and before a face cream, so nothing richer is already in the way. Handling is half of it, since the eye area shows friction faster than any other part of the face. What is the TONYMOLY The Chok Chok Green Tea Watery Eye Cream 30ml?
It is a 30ml eye cream with a light watery texture, applied after your face serum and before your face cream. It is tapped around the orbital bone with a ring finger rather than rubbed in. A light texture creases less under concealer than a balm does.
Do I really need a separate eye cream?
Not everyone does, and a mild face cream taken around the orbital bone is a reasonable substitute for many people. What an eye cream gives you is a texture and a dose sized for thin skin, which matters if your face cream stings or migrates. If the eye area is the part that feels tight first, it earns its place.
How much of the 30ml do I use?
About a grain for both eyes, which is why a small pot lasts months. More than that has nowhere to go and ends up in the eye or on a pillow. Spread over the orbital bone rather than pushed into the socket.
Where does it go in the routine?
After serum and before face cream. Putting a rich face cream down first means the eye product has to sit on top of it, which is not what either is for. If you use an eye patch or a sheet mask, those come before this.

- Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (40%) plant extract
- Camellia Sinensis is the tea plant. Green tea leaf extract carries catechins, among the most studied plant antioxidants, and is used for the look of redness and oily shine.
- Water solvent
- Water is the base almost every serum, toner and cream is built on. It dissolves the water-loving ingredients and sets how light the finished texture feels. On an INCI list it is usually first, which only means it is the largest single ingredient by weight.
- Glycerin humectant

- Niacinamide active
- Niacinamide is vitamin B3, and it is the most studied active in Korean formulation. It is used at roughly 2 to 5 percent for the look of uneven tone and visible pores, and it is water soluble, stable and comfortable beside almost every other active, which is why it turns up in so many lists.

- A silicone emulsifier with polyglycerin attached. It is the standard way to hold water inside a silicone fluid, which is how many mineral sun fluids are built.
