How it works
An essence toner is the step between cleansing and serum, and its job is to put water back on the surface so what follows has something to work with. It goes on right after cleansing, morning and evening, and it is thin enough to layer two or three times on a dry day. In this range it is the entry step, the layer everything else sits on top of. Use it every day rather than saving it, and put your serum on while the skin is still damp.
