How it works
Body skin on the shins, elbows and forearms is thicker than facial skin and dries out faster, so what it wants is a cream with more weight than a face moisturizer. That is what this one is: a rich cream for the whole body, worked in after a shower while skin is still damp. Glycerin and panthenol hold water at the surface, petrolatum and squalane sit over the top of them, and ceramide NP is on the same list. Elbows, knees and shins take a second pass, because those are the areas that go rough first. It is a daily habit rather than an occasional treatment.

Is this cream heavy or occlusive on the skin?
Yes, by design. Petrolatum and dimethicone both sit in the first third of the list, and both are occlusive, meaning they sit on the surface and slow water loss rather than absorbing in. For very dry or eczema-prone body skin that occlusion is the point; on oilier body areas a lighter lotion may feel more comfortable.
Does this contain fragrance?
The ingredient list names no fragrance, parfum or essential oil. That is worth knowing if the skin reacts to scented body products, since the moisturizing here comes from the emollient and ceramide stack rather than from a perfume layer added on top.
How does the hyaluronic acid here compare to a hyaluronic acid serum?

Can this be used on the face as well as the body?
