How it works
Micellar water is a first cleanse rather than a whole one: it lifts makeup, sunscreen and the day's grime onto a cotton pad so the wash after it has less to do. This is COSRX's low-pH version of that step, with niacinamide in the name. Sweep it over the face and the eyes until the pad comes away clean, then follow with your usual gel or foam cleanser. On a bare-skin day it can be the entire cleanse, and skin that reacts to a strong foam often does better starting here. It is the step before the wash, not a stand-in for toner.
