How it works
A sheet mask gives one dose of essence and a fixed few minutes of contact, and that is the whole step. This one is soaked in an essence built on centella asiatica extract and centella asiatica leaf extract, with matricaria flower extract and panthenol behind them. It goes on after toner, in place of the serum step, in the evening. Skin that looks flushed after sun, wind or a strong active is the case this fits. Two or three evenings a week, and moisturizer follows once the essence has been patted in.
Key benefits
- Centella appears three times, as whole, leaf and root extract
- Madecassoside and the asiaticoside trio deepen the cica story
- Matricaria flower extract and panthenol keep the soak gentle
- A quick calm-down step for flushed, stressed skin
Key actives
Centella Asiatica Extract
the classic calming botanical, in triplicate
Madecassoside
centella-derived calm for reactive skin
Panthenol

COSRX Pure Fit Cica Calming True Sheet Mask
This mask is marketed as calming, but I see alcohol on the list. Is that unusual?
Alcohol is fourth on the ingredient list, which is a genuinely high position for a mask positioned around soothing and calming. It sits ahead of centella asiatica extract itself, so anyone who finds alcohol drying or tingly on their skin should patch test this one before assuming the calming marketing means alcohol-free.
How many forms of centella asiatica are actually in this mask?
Three named centella entries appear across the list, centella asiatica extract, leaf extract, and root extract, along with the individual active compounds asiaticoside, asiatic acid, and madecassoside further down. That is a genuinely centella-forward ingredient count even though the extract itself sits sixth rather than at the very top.
Does this mask contain any essential oils?
Yes, eucalyptus globulus leaf oil and melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil both appear in the back half of the ingredient list. Anyone sensitive to either essential oil specifically should patch test before a full application, since both are named oils rather than a diluted fragrance blend.
What is chamomilla recutita doing on this ingredient list?
Chamomilla recutita, commonly known as chamomile, is a calming botanical extract that sits alongside paeonia suffruticosa root extract in the middle portion of the list. Both work as supporting soothing ingredients alongside the larger centella asiatica cluster rather than leading the formula.
Is this mask a good fit for skin currently reacting to something else?
The centella cluster, panthenol, and chamomile extract are all generally well tolerated calming ingredients, but the alcohol in fourth position and two essential oils further down mean this formula is not free of potentially stimulating ingredients. Patch testing first is a reasonable precaution for skin that is already actively irritated rather than simply dry or dull.

How to use
- Use the Pure Fit Cica Calming True Sheet Mask after toner, in place of your serum step, in the evening.
- Line the sheet up at the eyes, then smooth it out to the jaw so it sits flat against the skin.
- Take it off at the time the pack gives, pat in the essence left behind, then finish with moisturizer.
- Two or three evenings a week. Do not put it on straight after an exfoliating acid; give reactive skin a plain evening instead.
