How it works
This is a facial mist from mixsoon's Korean-market lineup, built as an everyday routine step rather than a one-off treatment. The formula is sold in its original Korean-market build, with the ingredient list carried over unchanged from the version sold in Korea rather than a US-market reformulation. Texture and finish are the point of a facial mist: it is meant to layer cleanly with the rest of a routine rather than compete with it. Placement in the routine matters more than any single ingredient claim, so use it Any time during the day and give the rest of the routine room to work on top of or underneath it. Patch-test on the inner arm before a first full-face use, as with any new skincare step, and stop if irritation appears.
Key benefits
- supports a calmer-looking, less easily irritated surface
- supports a plumper, less dehydrated look through the day
- re-wets the surface in seconds without disturbing makeup underneath
- is sized for the way it is actually sold and used on Korean shelves
- is the authentic Korean-market formula, not a US-shelf reformulation
Inside the formula
Inside the formula
What is the mixsoon Calming Boosting Mist 50ml for?
It is a facial mist from mixsoon's Korean-market lineup, meant to sit in the routine as an everyday routine step. It ships as the same formula sold in Korea rather than a US-shelf reformulation, so the ingredient list on the box matches what Korean shoppers buy.
When should I use this facial mist in my routine?
Any time during the day, misted over the face at an arm's length, over or under makeup. Give it a minute to settle into the skin before layering the next product on top, and keep the same order every time you use it so you can tell what is actually working.
Can I use this alongside other treatment steps?
Yes, it is designed to sit inside a normal routine rather than replace it. Introduce it on its own for the first week so you know how your skin responds, then layer in other treatment steps as usual.
Is this the same formula sold in Korea, or a US version?
This is the Korean-market mixsoon formula, over-labeled in English for US sale rather than reformulated for the US market. The ingredient list on the box is the same one Korean shoppers see on the shelf.
How long does a bottle typically last with regular use?
That depends on how much is used per application and how many steps sit around it in your routine, since a facial mist used once or twice daily is used differently from one used weekly.
Full INCI (5): Centella Asiatica Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Bellis Perennis (Daisy) Flower Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate
Ingredient list read from inkeedecoder.com on 10 September 2026.
5 of 5 explained
- Centella Asiatica Extract plant extract
- Centella Asiatica is the plant behind the whole cica category, sold as gotu kola or Madagascar centella. Its extract is the anchor of Korean formulas built for easily reddened skin, and its work is done by four triterpenes: asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid.
- Houttuynia Cordata Extract plant extract
- Houttuynia Cordata is heartleaf, and it is one of the two or three anchor plants of Korean calming skincare. Its extract carries quercitrin and other flavonoids and is used for the look of redness and blemish-prone skin.
- Bellis Perennis (Daisy) Flower Extract plant extract
- Common daisy extract, carrying saponins and flavonoids. It is used for the look of uneven tone.
- Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract plant extract
- Tea Tree Leaf Extract is the water-based extract rather than the essential oil, so it is far milder and much less aromatic. It is used in formulas for blemish-prone skin.
- Sodium Hyaluronate humectant
- Sodium Hyaluronate is the salt of hyaluronic acid, and it is what most products labelled hyaluronic actually contain. The salt dissolves more readily and the molecule is smaller, so it sits in the outer layer of skin rather than only on top of it.
