How it works
Phellodendron Amurense Bark Extract sits third on the ingredient list, ahead of most of the emulsifier system, with Paeonia Lactiflora Bark/Sap Extract fifth and Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract eighth, so the herbal extracts here are dosed high instead of dropped in at the end. What carries them is a fatty-alcohol emulsion, Cetearyl, Cetyl and Stearyl Alcohol with Glyceryl Stearate, loaded with Squalane, Shea Butter, Baobab Seed Oil and a full ceramide set of NP, NS, AS, EOP and AP, alongside five forms of hyaluronic acid. The Centella fraction is named out in full at the end as Madecassoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiaticoside and Asiatic Acid. That lipid load is why it finishes heavier than a gel and holds as the last step of a routine.
