How it works
A cleansing tissue is a compromise and it is worth being clear about which one: it takes makeup and grime off without a sink, and it does not replace a wash. These are soaked in a mild coconut derived surfactant blend with glycerin, betaine, panthenol and allantoin, plus several forms of hyaluronic acid, so the skin is not left dragging afterwards. Sea water and kelp extract are the line's signature ingredients and they are on this list as well. The obvious cases are travel, the gym, and a night that ended later than planned. Rinse or wash properly the next morning, because a tissue is a stopgap and the routine still expects a cleanse.
How to use
- Take one sheet from the 1025 Dokdo Cleansing Tissue and use it on dry skin as the first evening cleanse, before any water.
- One sheet is the dose. Fold it over your fingers, press it onto each area for a moment, then sweep once in one direction.
- Follow with a water-based cleanser and then your toner. A wipe is a first pass, not the whole wash.
- Once a day, in the evening, and on the days you are away from a basin. Do not go over the same area again and again with a dry sheet; reach for a fresh one instead.
