Key actives
Centella Asiatica Extract
Centella Asiatica is the plant behind the whole cica category, sold as gotu kola or Madagascar centella. Its extract is the anchor of Korean formulas built for easily reddened skin, and its work is done by four triterpenes: asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid.
Asiaticoside
Asiaticoside is one of the four active triterpenes isolated from centella and the most studied of them. Korean formulas name it separately when they want to show which fraction of the plant they standardised.
Madecassoside
Madecassoside is the centella triterpene most associated with the look of redness, and the one brands lead with in cica products. It is water soluble and stable, so it appears in essences as readily as in creams.
Madecassic Acid
Madecassic Acid is the fourth centella triterpene. A list that names all four is telling you the extract was standardised rather than simply pressed, which is the difference between a cica claim and a cica formula.
Niacinamide
Niacinamide is vitamin B3, and it is the most studied active in Korean formulation. It is used at roughly 2 to 5 percent for the look of uneven tone and visible pores, and it is water soluble, stable and comfortable beside almost every other active, which is why it turns up in so many lists.
Adenosine
Adenosine is a nucleoside that Korea's own cosmetic authority recognises as a wrinkle-care functional ingredient, which is why it appears on so many Korean lists at a low level. It is used for the look of fine lines and is stable and well tolerated.
Propolis Extract
Propolis is the resin bees collect from tree buds and use to seal the hive. It is rich in flavonoids, carries a warm amber colour and scent, and is used for the look of dull, stressed skin. It is a bee product, so it is worth knowing about if you react to those.
How to use
- Cleanse the face and pat dry before applying.
- Apply Reedle Shot All In One 3 Step Mask++ evenly over the face, avoiding the eye area, following the timing on the pack.
- Remove the sheet or rinse off residue once the time is up.
- Follow with a moisturizer to lock in the hydration the mask left behind, rather than skipping straight to the next product.
How often should I use Reedle Shot All In One 3 Step Mask++?
Most sheet and wash-off masks in this format are meant for two to three uses a week rather than daily use, since they are a concentrated occasional step layered on top of a normal routine rather than a replacement for it. Daily use is not necessary to see the hydration benefit.
When in my routine do I use it?
Apply it right after cleansing, before the rest of your normal routine. Once the mask time is up and you have removed it or rinsed off any residue, follow with your usual toner, serum, and moisturizer as you normally would.
How long should I leave it on?
Follow the timing printed on the pack rather than guessing. Leaving a sheet mask on well past the recommended window, especially once it starts to dry out, can pull moisture back out of the skin instead of adding to it, so timing matters more than leaving it on longer.
Is this the same formula sold in Korea?
Yes. This is the Korean-market VT Cosmetics release, imported with its original Korean-language packaging, barcode, and batch code intact, rather than a version reformulated or repackaged for US retail. We check that batch code against the one on the box before it ships, instead of relying on the listing alone.
Can I use it if I have sensitive skin?
Patch test on the inner arm before the first full-face application, as with any new mask. If your skin tends to react to fragrance or a long list of botanical extracts, read the ingredient list on the product page first and introduce it gradually rather than leaving it on for the full recommended time right away.

How it works
The panel on this formula names eleven forms of centella asiatica rather than one: Centella Asiatica Extract, Asiaticoside, Madecassoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid, Centella Asiatica Extract, Asiaticoside, Madecassoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid, Centella Asiatica Extract. On this panel it sits alongside Niacinamide, Adenosine and Propolis Extract. Niacinamide is vitamin B3, and it is the most studied active in Korean formulation. It is used at roughly 2 to 5 percent for the look of uneven tone and visible pores, and it is water soluble, stable and comfortable beside almost every other active, which is why it turns up in so many lists.
Worth knowing
- Patch test before the first full application, especially on sensitive skin.
- Do not leave a sheet mask on beyond the pack's recommended time, since a mask left to dry out can pull moisture back out of the skin.
