How it works
An emulsion is a milky lotion, thinner than a cream and thicker than an essence, which is exactly the gap it exists to fill. A small amount covers the face, and the surface afterwards feels smooth rather than coated. Hydration is water held in the top of the surface, and what you put over it decides whether it stays, which is why the order of layers matters as much as the layers. That is the difference from a rich cream, which suits dry skin in winter but feels like too much on skin that runs oily. The result you can judge yourself is whether your skin still feels comfortable hours after you finish your routine.
Key benefits
- ETUDE Korean-market emulsion, full size
- A lightweight moisturizing step, used after toner and before a heavier cream if needed
- Ships with its Korean barcode and batch code intact, not swapped for an export label
Key actives
Hydrolyzed Collagen
Second on the list, right behind water, hydrolyzed collagen is the humectant this entire line is named for, binding water at the surface for the plumped, cushioned feel the Moistfull Collagen name promises.
Adansonia Digitata Fruit Extract
Baobab fruit extract sits mid list among the plant-derived ingredients, a botanical this formula adds alongside the collagen for its own moisture-supporting character.
Adansonia Digitata Seed Oil
Baobab seed oil, positioned among the emollient oils, gives this lighter-weight emulsion its cushioned slip without the heavier feel of a dedicated night cream.
Glyceryl Stearate
An emulsifying emollient that helps hold the water and oil phases of this emulsion together, giving it a stable, silky texture rather than separating.
What is Moistfull Collagen Emulsion?
It is a light milky emulsion from ETUDE, made for skin that feels tight by the afternoon, whatever its oil level, and anyone whose routine leaves it thirsty. It goes near the end of the routine, after your serum and before any heavier cream or facial oil. The result you can judge yourself is whether your skin still feels comfortable hours after you finish your routine.
Where does Moistfull Collagen Emulsion go in my routine?
It goes near the end of the routine, after your serum and before any heavier cream or facial oil. In practice: After your serum, smooth a small amount over the face and neck as your last leave-on step, morning and night. Applying it out of that order is the usual reason a step seems to do nothing.
Is Moistfull Collagen Emulsion right for my skin type?
It is aimed at skin that feels tight by the afternoon, whatever its oil level, and anyone whose routine leaves it thirsty. The skin types we would put first are dry skin, dehydrated skin and normal skin. Dehydration and dryness are different problems, and oily skin can be dehydrated, which is why this suits more skin types than a rich cream would.
Do I need a cream as well as an emulsion?
Not always. On oily or combination skin an emulsion is often enough on its own, especially in summer. On dry skin in cold weather it works better as a first moisturising layer with a cream on top of the areas that need it. Doubling the emulsion instead of adding a cream rarely gives the same comfort.
Is this Moistfull Collagen Emulsion the authentic Korean-market formula?
Yes. We stock the ETUDE Korean-market formula rather than a version reformulated for US shelves. The bottle you open is the one sold on Korean shelves, with Korean-primary packaging and an intact barcode you can check yourself.

How to use
- Use it after your toner, essence and serum, when those have settled.
- Warm a small amount between your fingers and smooth it over the face and neck in upward strokes.
- Add a richer cream over the top on dry areas in winter, rather than doubling the amount of this.
- Do not use it before your serum, since a milky layer applied first gets in the way of everything thinner.
Worth knowing
- Patch test on a small area first if your skin reacts easily to new products.
- Apply it on damp rather than dry skin, since a hydrating step has more to hold on to that way.
