How it works

No. 9 NAD+ PDRN Glow Boosting Toner is built around Niacinamide, which supports an even-looking skin tone and works alongside the formula's humectants to keep the surface comfortable. It is one of the most studied actives in Korean formulation for tone evenness and is gentle enough for daily AM and PM use. Alongside it, the formula carries Glycerin, Sodium Dna and Adenosine, each doing a supporting job rather than competing for the same result. As a toner, it is formulated for its own step in a Korean AM/PM routine, so it works with the rest of a layered routine instead of trying to replace it. Sourced for the Korean market, it is the same formula sold in Korea rather than a US-shelf substitute, with its intact Korean-market batch coding carried through.

Key benefits

  • Carries Niacinamide, which supports an even-looking skin tone and works alongside the formula's humectants to keep the surface comfortable.
  • Carries Glycerin, which is the formula's core humectant, drawing in moisture and helping every other ingredient spread evenly across the skin.
  • Carries Sodium Dna, which is a nucleotide-derived ingredient from the PDRN family Korean skincare has built a fast-growing category around.
  • Carries Adenosine, which is Korea's monograph anti-wrinkle functional ingredient, included at a set minimum in cosmetics registered for that claim.
  • Formulated as a toner, matched to its step in a Korean AM/PM routine rather than asked to do every job at once.
  • Is the Korean-market formula from Numbuzin, with intact Korean-market batch coding rather than a US-reformulated substitute.

Key actives

Niacinamidebrightening and barrier support

Supports an even-looking skin tone and works alongside the formula's humectants to keep the surface comfortable. It is one of the most studied actives in Korean formulation for tone evenness and is gentle enough for daily AM and PM use.

Glycerincore humectant hydration

Is the formula's core humectant, drawing in moisture and helping every other ingredient spread evenly across the skin. It sits near the top of most Korean formulas for exactly this reason: it is the base hydration layer everything else in the formula builds on.

Sodium DnaPDRN-family conditioning

Is a nucleotide-derived ingredient from the pdrn family korean skincare has built a fast-growing category around. PDRN-family ingredients are one of the newer signature categories in Korean skincare, associated with a plumper, more resilient-feeling surface.

Adenosinesignal-based anti-wrinkle care

Is korea's monograph anti-wrinkle functional ingredient, included at a set minimum in cosmetics registered for that claim. Korean regulation requires a minimum concentration for a product to carry an anti-wrinkle functional claim, so its presence signals a formula built for that purpose.

Ceramide NPbarrier-lipid support

Is one of the lipids naturally found in the skin's own barrier, included here to round out the formula's structure. Ceramide-carrying formulas are a Korean skincare staple for skin that runs dry or reactive, since they mirror the skin's own lipid makeup.

How to use

  1. Use the No. 9 NAD+ PDRN Glow Boosting Toner straight after cleansing, morning and evening, while the face is still damp.
  2. Apply numbuzin No.9 Toner morning and night on freshly cleansed skin. Pour an appropriate amount onto a cotton pad or into your hands. Gently sweep the toner across your face and neck, then pat lightly to help it absorb. F ollow with your favorite serum, cream and sunscreen (in the morning) to keep your glow going strong.
  3. It goes on before serum and moisturizer, and the damp layer it leaves is what the step above it holds on to.
  4. Twice a day, every day. Do not let it dry down completely before the next layer goes on, or you lose the reason for applying it to damp skin.

Worth knowing

  • Patch test on the inner arm first if trying a new brand's formula for the first time.
  • Stop use and check the ingredient list against any known sensitivities before continuing.
