The brand that made a peeling pad a category

NEOGEN's Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling pads, in Wine, Lemon and Green Tea, are the product that put a textured exfoliating pad into ordinary routines, and they are still the reference point for the format. Dermalogy is the main range around them and covers cleansing, pads, essences and creams.

Two other lines sit here and are worth telling apart: Real Fresh, the foam and stick cleansers sold by fruit or tea variant, and SUR.MEDIC, the more clinical sub-brand with the glutathione and gold caviar items in it. Sodium hyaluronate, panthenol and centella asiatica lead the actives across all of them.

Gauze pad, cleansing stick, or neither?

The gauze pads are an exfoliating step, so two or three nights a week and never in the same routine as an acid toner. Wine is the strongest of the three, Green Tea the mildest, and the difference is real rather than a flavour. The Real Fresh sticks are a cleanser in solid form and are the most travel-practical thing on this page. If your skin is reactive rather than rough, skip both and read the Dermalogy creams and the Azulene cleanser instead.

Is the Korean version of the peeling pad the same one?

The formats differ more than the formula. Korea gets jar counts and pad variants that export listings collapse into one or two, and the SUR.MEDIC line in particular is sold far more fully at home than abroad. Since a pad product's value is entirely in the count and the volume of essence in the jar, those two numbers are on every listing here along with the Korean barcode, which is what lets you compare a domestic jar against an export one honestly.
