The PDRN Collagen Melting Patch For Neck is a patch, used apply a patch from it to clean, dry skin at the end of the evening routine. How to use
- Dampen the neck with toner first, since the film will not soften on a dry surface.
- Lay the patch along the front of the neck with dry fingers and smooth it outward so the edges make contact.
- Keep your chin level rather than tilted up while it melts, so the film does not slide.
- Do not wear a collar or a scarf over it while it melts, because fabric will lift it straight off.
Where does this patch go in my routine?
Apply a patch from it to clean, dry skin at the end of the evening routine. Toner goes on before it, and the rest of the routine goes on after you take the patch off. - Collagen protein
- Collagen is the structural protein that makes up most of the dermis. Applied on top it is far too large to enter skin, so in a formula it works as a humectant and a smoothing film former.
- Hydrolyzed Collagen protein
- Hydrolyzed Collagen is collagen broken into fragments small enough to dissolve in water. It cannot become collagen in skin; what it does is hold water at the surface and leave a smooth, conditioned film.
- Sodium DNA active
- Sodium DNA is the salt of DNA, in Korean skincare almost always salmon derived, and it is the ingredient behind the PDRN category. It is used as a humectant and for the look of tired skin; the fragments themselves are what the name PDRN refers to.
