How it works

This is the toner step, a watery layer that goes on first after cleansing. Alcohol Denat sits fifth on the ingredient list, which is what makes it flash off in seconds and leave the surface feeling matte instead of tacky. The tea tree character arrives twice: Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Water eighth, in water-soluble form, and Tea Tree and Eucalyptus Leaf Oils near the bottom, held in solution by PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil. Behind them, Centella Asiatica, Camellia Sinensis, Portulaca Oleracea and Undaria Pinnatifida extracts with Sodium Hyaluronate and Betaine take some of the dryness out of the alcohol.

How to use

  1. Apply within a minute of towelling off, while the skin is still slightly wet.
  2. Pour a coin sized pool into your palm and pat it on rather than soaking a cotton pad.
  3. Add a second thin layer over congested areas before moving on to your ampoule.
  4. Do not let it dry fully before the next step, since a dry surface wastes the point of a toner.
